Our Trips
We offer several types of trips on the Patriot depending on the day of the week and time of the year, including single species and multi-species combo trips. Fishing regulations in 2024 prohibited halibut fishing on Wednesdays throughout the year. 2025 halibut regulations will be announced in February. On Wednesdays we are not allowed to retain halibut but salmon, rockfish, and cod trips are still available.

Unsure of single species vs. combo?
Single species trips are a more relaxed day, allowing us to spend more time on one type of fishing. Single species trips (such as a halibut or cod only) allow us to stay in calmer, more protected water with less travel time to the fishing grounds. Combo trips are much busier trip, and we'll use several different techniques though the day. We'll keep you on the deck with a rod in your hand as much as we can! These trips usually have longer travel times, and do expose us to more weather.

Our Wednesday special! Depending on the time of year and where the salmon bite is best, we'll work our troll gear for the better part of the day looking for our shiny salmon friends, and then combo the trip with either Rockfish or Pacific Cod.
